Love the Shinkos. Put about 6k on them so far with very little visible wear. Lots of people warned "you get what you pay for" but I'm stubborn. Glad I listened to myself.

ya I hear you, even if they are a bit cheaper buy another one for the price you pay for a dunlop, and ya I have heard they are a decent tire and they look great on your bike ! I really like the look of the 1500's I think they look just a little more classic then the 1600's I am thinking of painting mine a deep candy green this winter hope it turns out

Hey Badge, how's the paint job coming? I am hoping to get something done on mine this winter too....paint and cosmetic polishing of 'stuff', plus several maintenance items like greasing swingarm, steering head adjust, new clutch spring, and braided stainless brake lines. All the stuff you never have time to do in riding season.
