Well Flavor, I run the 15w40 Rotella synth blend. The weight is a great choice for the bike....but unless the bike has been run on synth since it was new....I would go with synth blend if you wanna run a synth oil.
Running synth oil on a older motorcycle, you'll have oil leaking past rings and seals, gaskets, etc....
