    Hi Mac,

I saw your post on my thread for tire help. what size avon are you running up front?

Stock ft tire size by Avon in radial the Cobra. Cobra is the radial of the 2 Avons

Im starting to get more curious on the darkside deal. do they honestly ride as good as a bike tire? corner fine etc?
On a Nomad where you have hard parts IMO Yes, better even, or I would not be buying a 2nd same Dunlop SP 5000 in 195/60R/16. IMO it makes riding on dirt roads here in NH better riding on highway grind better, reduces the feel of pain at cross walks and other paints on roads. Makes it feel more stable on cheese grader bridges (wire mesh), and seems to improve rear wheel emergency braking

Mac.... I know you have given me more help than I propbably asked for, but I am still having issues. I think I have narrowed my 20mpg down to one of two things, but I wanted your advice on it. I have no vac leak so thats out. She still idles like shit or stalls with no throttle. I am thinking that either my fuel regulator is bad (filter screen is not clogged) or the fuel return valve under the tank is not functioning. Forcing more fuel into the intake. I can definately smell gas fumes sitting in traffic. I don't want to ride the bike much longer in fear of burning a piston. What is your gut reaction on this? Oh... I took the TFI off and it made absolutely no difference other than me hearing more knocking in the engine now.

    Chris

Flavor this ain't a PM...... I got no idea what you mean by ' raised tread'.

I haven't seen any water tires either, and don't know when I can even if you git me the link.............

As fer me: these are just more days as the stomach churns..... I am looking at and for other options....

Haven't heard from you. How's it going.

Rear tire has 20,000 miles and outside tread raised is raised evenly the whole tire. Weird wear. Don't know how to describe better than that. Thinking of going to the 205 aqua tread next. Thoughts?
