I know I'm a new guy around here and I'm posting a build-up on a bike a lot of these guys have moved on from and feel it's inferior to their current bike. Fine, I'm not trying to tell them anything different. But that's the first of two snide comments towards me here in the last week I found. I don't get it, if a guy takes an older muscle car and starts souping it up that's a cool project. Start doing the same thing to an older muscle bike and they talk trash.

Your note is appreciated, a guy would start to think about leaving the forum without any appreciation. When I reply it's only because I think I can offer something helpful, not to shut anyone down.

I'm not sure where you are but the bike engine builder I'm using is Racing Ray (forum handle) at Cycle Racetek in Ft. Lauderdale area. He's doing a great job, I can tell he thinks it's a cool project, different from the others he usually does. He's got some Vulcan 1500-1600 experience now. I can recommend him fully.

Thanks for all your postings on my engine build.
I've notified the moderators of Mick56 and requesting his posts to be removed.
I've been in the mechanical trades my entire life and at first I was a little disappointed with my local dealerships but then refocused my attention towards an engine builder.
After chatting with 3 different engine builders the 3rd guy realized i was serious about my rebuild. When he talked to me like a mechanic and not your typical customer he agreed to take it on.
