1400 miles on GYTT ..... and trip to Maine

If you think that's bad, try out the roads here in Newfoundland where we can have 5 seasons in one day!

Not really, the roads here are kept in better shape, but the roads in Nova Scotia should be...

Today I was going through the different entries here regarding tire pressures etc (I am getting ready to order my dark side tire). That led to a thread on air pressures and that led to me to checking...

Tank badges removed

Actually the tank badges on my '07 are cheap chrome plated plastic, probably only weighing a couple ounces each. I did smudge up the paint a little trying to get all the double sided tape off but a...

Tank badges removed

I took a couple pics but don't know how to reduce the size to post them. You can email me gary.oconnor@nf.sympatico.ca and I'll email them to you, you can then post them if you wish.

Gary

Tank badges removed

Just removed the tank badges and think I might get the word "Nomad" painted where the badges were. I think I saw a tank done like that on this site by another member, but can't locate the picture....

Smoked by a Sportster

I keep it just slightly above legal now that I'm older and have too many "motorized" toys to lose the enjoyment of them all because of one! I've done my time doing triple digit speeds.

Hitch

I agree, I have one from Chuckster, have used it a fair bit and all I can say is get one from him. The fit & finish are spot on and you really have to look for it if the ball isn't mounted.
