Have had that happen, on 2 occassions, in about 6 years. I mounted a ultrasonic animal gizmo on my bike....also have one on my truck. Seems to get their attention. My dogs have learned its sound....meet me at the driveway, day or night.
Now weither it'll keep deer from running out there....I guess it'd warn them. I plastered on in a truck going thru Al. back in the early 90's....thank god I wasn't on my bike!
