Honestly there are prettier ways but it worked
All this mod does is pull the throttle cable further with less wrist rotation,,
it doesn't matter how you go about doing it, this is not Hi-Tech stuff
My dad said they did this all the time on there dirtbikes, WAY Back in the day
He just took two slotted head sheet metal screws and ran them into the tube where the cable tracked lined them up with the cable guide so the screws would run in the slots. All this does is make the barrel that the cable runs in Bigger so the cable travels farther for the same amount of wrist turn. It really is that simple.
but there are better ways to do it than the screws
If I was going to buy one. I would buy Dave's, They are sweeet!!
Or if you just don't want to mess with them at all get Ray's, There bolt on
Don't let anybody fool you though. At the end of the day, They are all the same thing,, A quick turn throttle
