Any suggestions on the color. Will the black get hot when left in the sun or does it stay cool. Definitely not as hot as black vinyl. For what you want it to do, I'd still get black sheep's skin.
The wool doesn't transfer the heat well, the vinyl does transfer the heat well. Think picking up a black shirt that has been in the sun vs a black chunk of steel.
