Save the money and go with one of the simplier controllers. With my controller set at 3.25 / 5.5 / 0.5 I run 87 octane regular with no ping and get consitent 38MPG unless I am cruising consistently above 80mph and then I get about 35MPG but I have no ping at all even in high heat and with heavy load.
