Small KawaNOW gathering,

I went for a great, but short little ride yesterday with a KawaNOW buddy (DKdixie) and got to meet another KawaNOW member, Bob. Counting all my mileage, I only got to ride about 190 miles. When I left the house to meet up with Dick and Bob, it was 30 degrees. The day warmed up nicely (to around 68-70 degrees), and we got some miles in on the N. Georgia mountain back roads. We ended up over in Dahlonega, Ga. We had lunch, then went our separate ways to get back home. It's always a pleasure to get together with Dick, but it was great to meet Bob. I just wanted to say "THANKS" to both of these guys, and that I had a great day out with a couple of KawaNOW buds!!!!!!!!!

I've only had the pleasure of meeting fish (Larry) from here, but I sure hope I get to meet more, including you!!

It was a good ride and great compansionship. Cliff and Bob are good guys.....and both are very knowledgeable about Nomads.
Did as much BS-ing as riding but that's part of the experience as well.
As Cliff mentioned, the 30 degrees wasn't much fun........froze my butt off during the approx 40 mile trip to meet up. Warmed up quickly though.

Think the high was 30 for us then... watching the weather channel hoping for some of that global warming to happen soon so I can do some riding..... Hoping for an early Spring if nothing else.
I did go to the gas station and top mine off New years... a full 10 mile round trip at 28 on new years day.
