Pissed Helmet lock mod

So i attempted the Helmet lock move up to the right switch box mod today. For the life of me i couldn't get it to work. I even went and bought a spacer and a longer screw to no avail. Any ideas what i am doing wrong??

I mounted mine on the front lowers, I think that is the easiest and most useful.

It is the very last method in the link you provided in your first post.
You use the stock lower bolt and drill a small hole in the plastic lower to fit the little nipple thing on the back of the lock.

I did mine like TC did, except I filed off the little nub so they are straight up and down.

So you don't have a Nomad then?
It helps if you tell us what bike you have

After seeing a beautiful 1500 up at our Salmon Arm gathering with a relocated helmet lock. I tried it to and it wouldn't work. I wish I'd taken a picture of it.

This is a great idea IMHO and it's where my helmet locks are going to be relocated. Thanks Scooter
