Scootworks update

If this is in the wrong place SWB feel free to move tit. i put it here as I feel more members will see it.
I don't know how many of you know of my continuing saga with Scootworks.
I have been waiting for 3 months for a belt conversion kit for my 01 800 drifter.
Got an email today saying it was shipped and I should have it by Friday.
UPS sent a tracking number so I know it has been shipped.
It has been a long frustrating ordeal at times but it seems Scootworks has come through.

I'm happy for you T.C.. Really I am!!
Now I don't want to be pessimistic here, but if it were me that had been waiting as long as you for this kit? I just know it would be the wrong one, or have a part or two missing,......or something.
But I'm sure because it isn't me receiving this kit it'll not only be the correct kit but will have all the parts needed. Good luck with it.

I recently ordered something from Scootworks and had it shipped to an APO in Europe. Got it within two weeks. It's obvious that they've had their problems, but for me, the service was spot on.

Hey TC, I wouldn't move this one for anything. I know how much of a pain this thing with Scootworks has been plus, it is definitely bike and Nomad related. I hope you get your part soon.

Scootworks update

I had a similar experience with them earlier in the year. I ordered a lowering kit for my wife's bike. It took several emails, the first which explained that my parts were at the powder coater. It took at least 3 weeks after that to get the kit, and the bolt holes were powder coated. I love their variety of stuff, but the one experience was enough for me. It was quite a shame. I had other stuff on the wish list.

Glad you are finally receiving the parts Tim. Now the fun part begins. Are you doing the work or someone else? Would be a lot more fun if someone else, just would cost more. Good luck on getting it installed.
