In the saddle today!!

Yahoo. Temp was about 34, roads were dry. Enough snow was gone from the driveway and my street that I was able to make it out without any trouble. Took the Nomad for a short ride to see my daughter. Only about an 18 mile round trip but it was awesome.

All is right with the world.

In the saddle today!!

Still about 7 weeks before I can venture out on the bike. The snow is about 2 foot up the door of the shed where the bike is stored.

Its good to see that you got out for a ride, I tried to clean the snow today and it was so heavy that my machine wouldn't blow it, tried my neighbours machine and it would clog up as well.
I came back in and had a couple beers instead.

Oh, I am so jealous... It will be still be many weeks before the Nomad comes out of the garage. But, the winter makes me appreciate summer and nice weather that much more. That's awesome that you got a short ride in today!

In the saddle today!!

Glad you were able to take a ride today Bud. I managed a 21 mile trip myself. Temps here were in the mid 50s but going to cool back down until the weekend.

Good on you!

Feb 7 2010 was the first day of my insurance last year, I think I'm gonna take couple weeks longer this year.

Cheers,

E.

Congratulations on getting out.

I've got salt dust all over mine, but it's too cold to wash it.

Looks like we'll be in the 40s this week, so maybe it'll sparkle again.

In the saddle today!!

I made the 200 mile trip from Charlitte to Charleston yesterday. The temps ranged from 40-60. What a great day for a ride.

Glad you got out Bud. Too many snow showers with just enough to make the roads damp here. They are talking about 50's by the weekend so maybe. Note to self - get new battery.
