Heres an interesting link that another Kawanow member sent me that I found quite informative about tire wear. Im sure it will answer some questions about certain aspects of how and why tires wear like they do.

Yep, great article but what I know about MC tires is that they wear out way too fast. What I don't know is why manufacturers can't fix that.

(of course I did not finish the article so maybe that answer is in there)

Well my brain is pretty well fried after reading all that. The sight of so many shot motorcycle tires is a bit depressing. Thanks, ringadingh. lol
