FYI
Saw on the 5:00 PM local news today that a poll done by Reader's Digest of truck drivers, TV traffic reporters, and traffic experts found that I-55 in Louisiana and I-12 in Baton Rouge were voted the most dangerous highways in the COUNTRY !! Main factor was how often the roads were closed due to serious accidents.

I would have thought I-55 around Jackson, MS and Memphis would have been worse. I hate riding through either city.

I hate riding through Jackson and Shreveport on I-20. Birmingham with I-20 and I-59 is also very dangerous. My pucker hole stays that way any time I'm in either one of those places.

On my way home from the Hill Country Ride in April, I came through Houston on I-10 and it was raining. Talk about white knuckles!

Is it the way people drive or the pavement you are riding on? Dumb question from a small state.

FYI
In Memphis it is the way people drive in Jackson the people can't drive and they have 3 very bad curves for an interstate highway and when you cross the Louisiana state line on 55 you have to move into the left lane because the right lane is so rough you get beat to death. But these people that voted must not have every driven on I-40 between Little Rock and Memphis or in Houston or Dallas

Jim, Thanks for the response, I suppose when they get around to resurfacing the road, that should really make a mess of driving habits.
