I like the fairing look....are those stock bars? how do they fit with the new addition? are your hands inside the fairing line?
do you like the size windshield you have on it or would you go bigger??? |

Bandit, they are stock bars, it was pretty cold this past week and my hands are just slightly outside of the protection of the fairing. My brother just changed the bars on his street glide and I am going to give them a try, they are 3 1/2 inches narrower, 1 1/2 less pull back. The only thing I'm not sure of is if the street glide seating location is the same as ours. I am also strongly considering putting on the street glide fairing mount mirrors that he also took off. Free mods have to be the best.

Thursammaz - Street Glide handle bars and mirrors ?? Your brother should try to make his street glide look more like a Nomad..
I have a friend who has a HD bagger. (04 Road King). We both live out in AZ and we frequenlty ride each others bike to change it up on rides. He wont admit to it, but i think he prefers riding my bike better.....Are you out in AZ by chance as well? Figured you might be with your ID name. Happy riding! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Did it take you a long time to install your fairing? I live out here in AZ. Maybe you can help. How did the paint job come out? Any smudges or runs?

Some large lowers from Chuckster would add a sweet touch to a great looking project too. IMO

Nice work. I like this one. I'm going to do one on mine here
in the not too distant future. Really like the look when painted to match. Just kinda brings it all together.
