I use the same. Don't bunch. Breathe well. No chafing.

That's about our speed too. We (Patricia and I) are more interested in seeing, snacking, and shopping than world record miles in a day.

I use the UnderArmor compression shorts also. I've tried the bicycle shorts once on a day long ride and they seemed to work fine. I think they take some getting used to on a motorcycle. I'll try them again on another long ride to see how they are. I haven't been able to take any long/day rides lately.

For me, just the same jockey, BVD's or Haynes as any other day. Far as I'm concerned, the bike is just getting fully warmed up at 500 miles.

Mark,

The distance of 500+ miles depends greatly on the roads.and what there is to see. Out here and interstates, so 500 is not too bad.

My idea of a nice ride day includes lots of twisties and several stops for food/drink/sights/fuel/potty and 'cause we feel like it. Hard to fit all that in if you are pushing for max mileage. ;-)

True, but when they are 140 miles away you learn to push it and then enjoy.

I have used compression shorts for long rides.
They hold everything in place and allow my jeans to move easier.

I just wonder...........if you wore Depends and somehow them got wet. Would that not make a jell seat, and therefore a more comfortable ride?
