anyone know of some really neat lightbars?
I was curious if there were light bars that had spotlights bigger than four and a half inches, or if anyone knew of some really neat, different ones. I don't want the tiny spotlights, just something to make the front of the bike look impressive. Thanks!

If your intent is to become more noticable, you can go for brighter dual spots. Another cheap and easy mod is the Rainbo Strobe for your main headlight. It slips over the lighbulb, and to oncomong traffic, they'll see the light changing colors from red. yellow, blue, green etc. Not strong colors, just something to catch their eye.

I have one on my 05 Nomad. Cost is around 35 bucks ( last I knew). To make me more noticable from behind, I added a pair of 39 Ford teardrop lights installed into the saddlebags. The kicker is, they have bluedots in the lenses. From a distance, they tend to glow purple, which is just different enough to draw yor eye to it. They are active anytime the lights are on, and brighten when I apply the brakes. I know, they're not legal in all states, but I've travelled quite a bit, and have never been stopped for it. Been stopped for speeding more than once, but never for the blue-dots.

Since there are so many of you out there that know a whole lot more about the Nomad and how to set things up than I do, a request for some advise. I've seen how Trip has done some things to his bike and I really like them, but other idea are:
adding a Signal Dynamics brake light Module; four way emergency flashers; driving lights; a Stebel horn and the necessary switches for the flasher, driving lights and since I'd like to keep the OEM horn on as well, a second horn button. All comments welcome and please feel free to send to my home email account. Danke to all - Ken
