Tri-ovals on voyager

Installed my new tri-ovals today. Had to get 1 new gasket. Left side stuck to old muffler. These things sound great. Can hear the power of the 1700 v-twin. Thunderous is the word i would use to describe the sound. Not just alot of loud noise. Cruising is suprisingly low volume to the rider but when you get off in it rhey really sound powerful. Listened to them on youtube before I bought them but the recordings were not sufficient to give me a real knowledge of how they actually sound. The look is sweet for a voyager. Im pleased with my purchase.

YESSIREE...the Tri-Ovals look absolutely FANTASTIC on the Voyager and on the Nomad. I was gonna put the tri's on my Vaquero but the rear of the Vaquero is not as sunbstantial and for my tastes the tri's would look kinda outa place. Not so on the Vayager and Nomad, and those tri's do have an awesome sound.
Congrats and how's about a pic??

Had mine on since last year, believe me you don't need to pull the baffles, they have a very nice aggressive sound when accelerating and a nice mellow rumble at cruising speeds. I wouldn't touch a thing on them.

Yes they are louder than i expected. No way i would take the baffles out. Going to have the dyno test to adjust my FI 2000 dialed in before riding to the south central rally. One week to go before we ride.

Did you have to do anything with the air filter or use a fuel processor?
