Thanks for all the input! I really like the ones that mount to the floorboards. I think that would be just the ideal length and leg position so I don't end up putting more pressure on my tailbone.

Somebody has a set of Kury floor board highway pegs that look killer. Did a search but did not find the pick.

Even though there pricey The Slomad will be getting a set.

I have had similar experiences with Kuryakyn. Won't ever put anything from them on anything i ever own again.
