Hate those rear-enders
Hey fellas! I just thought I'd post a real-world account of one of our worst nightmares: losing a passenger.

Ok, let me get this straight, the car driver took off after rear ending the bike and the bike rider did not notice his passenger fell off in the collision and kept going? How do you do that? And how do you not check the rear of the bike for damage which may prevent the bike from being safely ridden, which at the same time you may notice a empty spot on the passenger seat.

You gotta read all the side stories Norm
I was confused also but the car driver, the woman on the back of the bike and the guy driving the bike all knew each other and had been drinking at someones residence. Read the stories at the side of the original post.

Yep this is crazy I know where this happened and the intersection It's not far from me and people just don't pay attention and then they are rear ending a vehicle slowing to make a turn. History of those involved will probably show that either drugs or alcohol where involved in this.

In Aviation we have what we call the swiss cheese effect. Usually when an incident or accident happens, a few things have transpired or safe guards neglected.
