Not so COOLANT situation!!!

Had the same issues with my 03, fan did not run as often as I would have expected it too, then the leak came, took it to stealer and replaced the switch, and they found a loose hose! but have put 8,000miles on with out a hic-up , [this happen with alittle over 4,000 on her]

Nomad run hotter than hell! It's a curse in the summer and a Godsend in the winter! When the fan kicks in on a summer day it will feel like you opened the oven door while cooking your dinner. In the summer time in southern cal when its over 90 my fan runs all the time when stopped at a light. Its the nature of the beast!

I was wondering about the heat as well. Went to a short 60 mile or so run today and it seemed very warm but then today was very warm also... I don't remember the older (2000) 1500 getting so hot. My fan runs a lot..!!

But it is all good! Best part of the run was all the compliments from the HD guys (other than the lack of noise, to which I could only say WHAT??? )
