Textile Jacket Sizing
Been thinking about getting textile jackets for me and the wife. The few I have tried on in the store seem to be a lot smaller than the size I normally wear (normally L or XL but seems I need an XXL to be comfortable). Is this common for all the different manufacturers? Any recommendations for decent priced jackets good for summer and winter driving? :-/
Thanks, Zoom45

Textile Jacket Sizing
Cindy and I have the Tour Master Intake jackets and yes they run smaller with the cold weather liner in. But if you buy it to fit with the cold liner in then it fits like crap without it.
We mainly wanted a jacket for warm to hot weather and rain protection when needed. I wear XL so that is what I bought. Fits good with out the cold weather liner. We have leather jackets with liners for colder weather.

Textile Jacket Sizing
If you look at www.newenough.com they have sizing guides for most of the jackets they sell. If you read them you'll find out stuff like brand-w runs true to size, and brand-x is a little snug, while brand-y tends to run a bit large, and brand-z is a bit longer than most etc.
I found that helped me a lot when ordering online. Nothing beats trying it on in the store though. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
