He was a fine man and I enjoyed the short time I was able to spend with him.

This is a bad, bad day. My prayers for Chuck and his family. Please, everyone ride safely.

Let's make this the last bad day we ever have at KawaNOW.

I was out of town and just saw this post. I am truly saddened by this news. I did not have the pleasure to ride with Chuck, but I shared a table with him and Gus over diner at the eastern rally, just the three of us. His stories were a pleasure to listen to and I would have liked to have known him better.

It is a reminder that we need to treasure the times we spend together. Not just with bikers, but with family, friends and others that we come in contact with.

RIP Chuck, my prayers are with your family. I am sorry for your loss...

Chuck "txcwdancer" Burt down....

My wife and I just got back from Coos Bay this afternoon.
Chuck was a dear friend and I will miss him more then you will ever know.
It broke my heart to hear of his death.
Last Saturday we said our goodbye's since he was leaving early Sunday morning. We shook hands and told each other to be safe.
For those who never met Chuck, you don't know what you missed.
He could make you feel great just by talking to you.
His positive attitude, cowboy hat, and smile was just a few great things about him.

I have lost a great friend and my heart is hurting.....

I was in Coos Bay as well, and while I didn't know Chuck, he has my respect as a biker, because he rode'm tough. I am very sorry for all the sorrow so many suffer with his departure. Everyday since, I've felt great sadness for all that knew him and his family.

There's no understanding these things. Peace to all.....

Mike... I agree with you. I have known Chuck for 5+ years.... my heart is broken. Katie and I shall keep him in our family prayers....

Chuck and I spent an hour together Saturday night...planning his 2009 trip to Reno. He and I planned to tour California after he reached my home in Reno.

Life is so damned hard at times is it not ?

Was good seeing you again at Coos Bay.
