Mutazu Trunk

I asked this question before but, I think it kinda got lost in the shuffle. Anyone know anything about these Mutazu trunks? They cost about $110.00 bucks but, if they are that inexpensive, how good are they. I would like a little more storage but can't afford a lot right now. They sell on E-bay and mutazu.com. I would appreciate any info.

It looks like it would probably bolt down to a luggage rack. I know the oem luggage rack sits up a lot higher than the cobra luggage rack though.

Yeah, it's supposed to bolt on any luggage rack that is at least 8" x 8" and the hardware to bolt it on comes with it. If no one has any first hand knowledge of these, I may just have to but one and check it out. Mama says she would like a little bigger backrest and a little more storage. Gotta keep Mama happy ya know. ;)

I like those trunks but I'm confused. The cheaper looking one is 110. The really cool looking one with the lighted rear spoiler is 115. The cheap one says optional rear spoiler for 55 dollars. Sounds like BD's McDonalds story! If their VN1500 luggage racks will fit my 1600 I'll buy theirs - those are the cheapest ones I've seen!

I've heard they're not bad for light duty, but if you do any heavy leaning against them they may crack. Don't know for sure, just heard.
