Godfather I hope you can sleep as you await the "miracle" that is about to become your bike's runability....you will be smiling all the way to the bank. When mine came home, we had almost two full weeks of nasty horrible weather I had to wait out until last Saturday. It was worth it.

Ivans

Just so I'm clear, if you plan on making any changes/mods to the bike get it done before sending the ECU to Ivan? or can you make changes/mods to the bike after the ECU has been Ivanized

MPSS; You can change the pipes and air after you get your ecu back from Ivan but it wouldn't hurt to consult with him on the phone. He asks what your bike has done to it on the form he has you print and fill out. Mine already had air and exhaust done and runs like a bear but if you aren't sure, just pick up the phone. Ivan is a great guy to talk to and he will let you know exactly what to expect with whatever setup you have going on.

Already done. He's a great resource and that's how I've determined what to add to the bike.

Sent mine out yesterday. Looking forward to getting it back in there and then getting some good riding weather.

My bike will do this once in maybe 5000 miles, and I've heard about it affecting all years and models of 1700 with cruise control. It does not affect the instruments or radio so it is not an electrical power interruption, just a momentary fuel shut-off.
This has never happened on my bike when holding a steady speed manually. I've have 4 different ECUs they all do it.
And FYI, there are no 2009 or 2010 ECUs. They were recalled in 2011 and replaced with a factory reflash to fix revving and stalling issues. The recall units have a blue dot on them.
You had your's flashed. How did it go?
