Oh yeah. I'm looking forward to it. Still have not decided on which route I will take to get there. Leaning toward running up I-15 to Butte then 90 to Missoula where I will find a motel. Then finish the next morning with an easy ride from Lolo.

Bud,
Think about heading west to Boise, then north up 55 thru McCall, grab a room there, then head north up 95 to Grangeville. From there take 13 over to 12 and slide into Orofino that way. That is a far prettier ride....just sayin'...!

I've been that way before Kris and it is nice. When I come home I plan to meet a friend in Missoula and ride down 93 through Salmon.

Well it is with regret that I will have to bow out of the rally. Not much of an excuse except I'm out of money. Too many expenses and something has to give. Need to do rules over "want to do".
This being the case I still have a room booked so if someone wants it let me know and perhaps we can flip it over. I will wait until tomorrow evening. Have fun and safe ride everyone. Sorry I won't be meeting the crew. :(:(

It's always been that way, people won't sign on because they have thoughts of
boozing and cruising, bad tempers, fights and dancing girls, who want to 'please
you, not tease you'. Then there are those who sign up and have genuine reasons
why they need to bow out, some will bow out because they start thinking about
the above mentioned drawbacks. ( Some don't see them as drawbacks).

Everyone that is thinking about backing out because you don't know anyone, DON'T.
You are about to have the time of your life, the people who go to the rallies are the
best! You will be a Brother or a Sister in a matter of minutes. I Promise!

I havent seen an updated list in some time...but I know Joel has been busy with more important things. It's not about those who do not attend...it's about those who do. Those that attend always have a great time and this years venue/location is one of the best ever. See ya soon boys and girls....!

I have never seen dancing girls or fights at the VBA Rally's.

Hope that doesn't deter anyone:p

I have to agree with each of you on this.....Although I am one who has had to "back out" of attending the rally.
The rally's are a lot of fun and the people I've come to know are great human beings and fun to be around. And of course it's not just about being there .....it's about the ride to get there and return home again that's always been the big draw for me. So if you are relatively new to the VBA site and think "but I won't know anyone when I get there"
you will soon after you arrive. Trust me !! You won't regret going.

I sure wish I was able to attend.....
