2000 Classic turned into Nomad
Hey Jan:
Thanks for sharing those photos. I find this to be a very intersting project, and would love to have one. Do you know if a side-by-side exhaust is available for a Vulcan 2000? For example- an exhaust pipe on each side of the rear wheel, instead of both being on the right side? Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Hey Bilzz,
So far I know, only rightsided exhaust systems for the V2K are available. I planned myself this winter to do a conversion based on the V&H Bagger Duals. Greetz Jan |

The local Kaw dealer is always wanting me to ride a 2000. He knows I drag race and thinks I would like the power. But it was that shot of the rear of a Nomad and those dual pipes under the bags that made me go check out a Nad.

I fully agree that the looks of a Nad are awsome! I owned myself 2 Nomads a 1500 Fi and a 1600, GREAT rides!
But the torque of 125 CI with a Power Commander and a K&N element, is amazing. And every time again a joy. Honestly I miss the shaft drive and the air assisted shocks. But overall I'm satisfied with the V2K Greetz Jan |

I've heard, and I could be wrong, that the Vulcan 2000 is be discontinued.

One of the magazines, was it Road Bike maybe?, just had a story on a guy that put hard bags on a V2K.
Looked pretty good.

Nice job Lasse! They sure do make great looking nomads. Yep, I really like the color too.
