If you bought a Nomad for speed, then you bought the wrong bike. You buy a Nomad for style and it's the best long distance cruiser. Black is basic, the Green and Silver, now that's style!

There is not supposed to be any black Nomads.
The black is only a protective coating put on at the factory.
If the bike is fast enough the black coating comes off on the first ride and the real color is exposed.
If the bike is SLOW, the black stays on.
That's the rumor I heard. OK, that's the rumor I made up, but it makes sense to me

The guy you passed was probable grateful to see yet another owner of a black nomad willing to once again try to prove that they have a great bug collector by insisting on being the quickest bike around. Thanks guys for continuing to be so intent on getting out there to try and make sure you lead the way to clean the bugs away for those of us who are riding in style. Believe me your desire to yet again try to prove your quickness really is appreciated by those of us who are WISE enough to LET you clear the bugs out of the way so we can arrive in style. Your insistence on having to be the quickest may be your idea of having the better bike, but believe me the rest of us have another name for it - "bug collector" - Oh and thanks for ALWAYS being SO willing to do that for the rest of us. It REALLY is MUCH appreciated :) :) :) :)

No... the word mourning is spelled morning...

which is the time of the day we get to sleep in much longer than those that don't have Black Nomads -- because we can get to where we are going so much faster.

With the speed of Black... a high-pressure slip-stream builds-up in front of the bike so that bugs never touch it. Haven't seen a bug stuck to my windshield in years.

Now green Nomads... that something else. Had to wipe of a couple of them off before. (poor guys never saw it coming)

Arriving Quickly or Arriving with Style?

That is what is so confusing to the rest of us. Why are you owners of black bikes so insistent on getting your riding done SO QUICKLY. When I am on my bike I ENJOY the ride - not the need to try to get from point A to point B the quickest. Nice try with the slip stream comment - I've seen PLENTY of black Nomads full of bugs as they went out front and became once again the bug collector for the rest of us who enjoy our ride as we arrive in style. As far as wiping the "green" off your windshield that wasn't a Nomad - that was bug slime. You really should know the difference by now. We were waving at you as you sped by knowing once again that a black "bug collector" Nomad would be getting rid of the green slime for us once again. THANKS

Eagleman, I can't speak for the other visionaries who were discerning enough to purchase the black nomad - but for me, the reason I get I my riding done fast is because IT'S 112 DEGREES OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW!

BiscuitsNGravy is what takes me to biscuits and gravy. Doesn't matter what color it is. I didn't even consider what color it was when I bought it. My black beauty will never be fastest, especially since it is hauling my 330 lb carcass around. Bwwwwaaaaaaahhhaaaaa!

ALOT further for what!!! So you can collect more bugs than those of us riding with style. Really we all know how you all feel about your black nomads and honestly we really are wise enough to let you continue to show us just how great a bug collector you really have. Please contiue to ZOOM ahead and clear the way for the rest of us who are wise enough to ride in style. Thanks for making our journey such a great one. We really do appreciate your efforts in having to ZOOM ahead of us and clear all that bug slime out of the way. Thanks again!! :) :) :) ;) ;) ;)
