Yikes... I'd be happy if I could just get anywhere the temps were above 60 for about a week!

I'll do that, we dont get to spend much time on our own as we have a couple of sons. But as they are pretty much grown up now, we have more time to ourselves. I live in Phoenix and found lots of routes to ride ,Jerome is an excellent choice, out on 66 yo lake Havasu also great heck do both. I also belong to a riding club here and welcome you to contact us, http://forums.delphiforums.com/Eastside58/messages.. we could possibe meet up with you for a ride .
