New Backrest
I found that the Grasshopper backrest does change your position in the saddle a little. It caused me to ride a little closer to the handlebars which in my case is a good thing. I use to ride way back which I think was part of my back problems with leaning forward to reach the handlebars.

Another ride today with the Hopper behind me. Can't wait for my first long ride to see the results. Heading to Yuma in a week or two.

My Grasshopper arrived on Friday and installed that evening. Now if it will only warm up and stop raining I will try it out.

Hey Dennis, my wife and I will be traveling near St. George on Apr 28th (Wednesday). We are camping at Zion NP for one night then heading west to California. If you want, maybe we can hook up for a visit around the campfire that evening. BnG

BnG: Sounds like a good reason to ride up to Zions to me. As we get closer let me know that your plans haven't changed and we will sure ride up and say howdy. Zions is a ride I make a lot since it is only 30 minutes away. We do a lot of breakfast runs during the summer months up there. I will look forward to it. With a good looking bike like that how could I resist a chance to see in live.
