I find it utterly unbelievable that with a thread with a title like this has remained on track for so long. Way longer than most. I'm not sure if I should say "way to go" or wonder what has happened to all of you. Maybe it is just the effect of what has become a long winter. ;)
LMAO i thought the same, when i posted it i thought big mistake but looks like i was wrong :-/

I hear you loud and clear. Riding in South Florida it's usually hot. When I posted a similar question last year, somebody said something like, "Try sitting on the engine of a small 4 cylinder car and see if you feel the heat." Guess I've gotten used to it. Also try to avoid stop and go traffic in the summertime. Most times I hear the fan kick on, even when I shut her down.

Nico...Nice picture..

Hey Ian, what height are the letters on your number plate? Looks like they are car number plate size. If they are they would be 79mm. The motorcycle size is 64mm. Check out http://www.dvla.gov.uk/media/pdf/leaflets/v796.pdf

Yeah, that big yellow plate is like a "slow moving vehicle" sign except it's not triangular. The wind resistance alone must cost you about 2 MPG, which is a big deal what with the price of fuel over there.

I paid $3.89 per gallon for 91 octane. That's about half what you pay, and actually in central California we have about the most expensive fuel in the US.
