I ran the straps up between the upper and lower fairings and looped them around the front forks at the bottom of the lower triple clamp.
Rear- I ran them behind the bags and looped them around the strut/trunk bracket. Put another set of straps from the sides to the frame under the seat just for giggles. Had a couple of 8' 2x4s screwed down to the trailer deck on each side of the wheels, and a few shorter 2x4s screwed down in front and behind both wheels. The bike didn't have a chance to escape. Seems a shame that the Harley's can't make it that far...

The Harley could make it, the problem is your friend.

Here is how I have hauled my bike the few times when I haven't ridden it to where I was headed. It's a Stinger motorcycle trailer, they work very slick for loading a bike by yourself plus the trailer has two hinge points so it folds up for easy storage. It may look flimsy in the picture but it has a 3000 lb axle and is very solid build quality. It has a good wheel chock in the front with tie down points front and back so I used the triple tree in the front and the Passenger peg mounts in the rear. I'm not affiliated with the company I promise

Is there a reason you can't just ride along with them and still stay in the motorhome?

DSCF1933.jpg Front wheel goes into a wheel chalk and these go around the rear wheel then I drop a long carrage bolt through it and the floor and of course four tie downs.
