There are plenty of reasons for towing a motorcycle.

The "Holier than thou" types are getting a little tiresome.

Years ago I had a 96 Vulcan 800 Classic that I trailered to Florida for bike week at Daytona. I didn't have much of a choice because there was still snow on the ground in Michigan when I left and the family including the wife, my 7year old boy, and 7 mos. old daughter were in tow. Once in Florida (stayed in Plant City with family) the bike was unloaded and rode over to Daytona

Never tie down from the bars as it's been said. Have you checked your owner's manual? It might have tie down instructions. Mine does.
