fuel processor question? ((update)) #2
Not sure why your Cobra didn't clear up the stumble - mine goes away with Pot 1 turned up to even as low as 1! Thing used to stall out sometimes at a light or would stumble and hicup when taking off - now pulls hard all the way from idle to bumping off the rev limiter.
Once you get it figured out and set up the way you like it - you can jsut ignore it - or if you are like me and pull a trailer I will sometimes go between the 1 up set up I set and the pag the bags / load the trailer / plop the ole lady on board and hit the road set up. Simple as turning the pots to the required settings and away you go! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I have the Dobeck. Good results and easy to dial in. Remember the setting for your bike may not be the same as someone elses. Start with their factory settings and tweak for your bike after that.

fuel processor question? ((update)) #2
well according to that link... it's nothing. Just a Jet kit. I find that hard to believe.
The model FI2000R 92-1963 as listed on EBay as being compatible is on the Cobra site for the 1600. Is that all the help I can get, or should I spend more money and just get a TFI 2050ST? |

Michael I have the Cobra FI200R on my '08 1600. I would just double check the Cobra site and make sure which one you need. The Doebeck and Cobra are both excellent units and either will help your bike tremendously.

Michaelh, The Cobra FI 2000, and the TFI are both fuel processors. They let you do to fuel injection systems the same results as re-jetting a carbed system. The biggest difference, instead of changing jets to get various results, you only have to turn little pods (screws) on the processors.
