This plugs into the 30 pin iPod adapter for our bikes and you can Bluetooth from either and iPhone OR Android and it doesn't matter. Doing this doesn't allow you to change music though the handlebar controls since it doesn't recognize the player in a phone. But I just mount my phone on the bars for easy access or make sure my playlist is set to shuffle and ride on. Volume controller on handlebars works. You cant see the folders on the readout of the stereo, but if you are using a phone instead of iPod, that's the way it goes.

I bought one on Amazon that receives and transmits bluetooth. 25.00. The company is called Indigo and one charge lasts over 12 hours. Turns off by itself if it does not detect a signal after 5 minutes. About the size of a match book. Its been great. I can stream from my ipod nano that has bluetooth or my android phone. it is in the left storage box connected to the bike by the Aux adapter.

Android Cord
http://allgalaxytab.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1449
Saw this online. I think it would work with the OEM ipod cord and allow usage of the handle bar controls. Cheap enough to give it a try. Will update this after I get mine. |

Also, what does it use the transmit side for? Maybe allow the use of the handle bar controls? I'm not real bright with this stuff. LOL

I guess you can use transmit for an audio device that has a 3.5 jack but no bluetooth and be able to send the audio signal to a device that does have a bluetooth receiver. I only use the receiver mode on my Vaquero.

I just bought one of those myself Heath... Good find! And at US$5.68 shipped free anywhere in the world it's hard to see a downside.

I'm installing the Bluetooth receiver Heath found for us into an iPod dock I already had on my home stereo... The phones in our house are now either Android, or Apple lightning - not so many Apple 13 pin connector phones around the house any more. So Bluetooth will open it up to anyone with a laptop full of music
On my Voyager, I already have a USB socket mounted up front, plus the 3.5mm stereo aux input. So one of these bluetooth receivers looks like it might work OK. That one you found looks like it's better made Doyle, but the RCA's mean you'll need another adapter to get over to the Kaw Aux input.
