I'll be installing wheel bearings and a new tire, windsheild, tailight and headlight as well as a few other minor things. That should keep me busy for a while.

Mine went into storage today Yesterday was the last straw for riding this year. Getting caught in a bad thunderstorm in 40 degree weather is no fun.

This winter the bike will see new steering stem and front wheel bearings

Steve...maybe I missed it....but what happened to your bike with the insurance co? Did they end up repairing it?

BTW...as for me....other than maybe a routine service and set of tires next spring....I will be busy planning all my great routes for next summer! I'm hoping to make the SW Rally in June (Kanab, UT)...and for sure the Canadian Rockies Rally (Canmore, AB, Canada) in July. That's a lot of route/hotel planning. Could keep me busy all winter!

I'm getting my seat redone from Rusell daylong. Just sent it in today. And ceramic coating the exhaust pipes. Got them off but need to find time to drive 2 hrs oneway. They close at 4:30. May have to leave work early.

Clutch spring...and building a lift table, when I'm not riding. (Winter riding is the perk we get for putting up with such hellish summers).

*really* looking forward to having the table!

I didn't have any collision insurance on the bike so I have to fix it all myself. Most of its done, but it won't have the fairing or beerbox on it anymore. I doubt I'll like it as much with just a windshield but I'll give it a try and go from there.

Install new battery and Clearview shield. Change out all fluids expect oil which is new. I may spot paint some rock chips on the Trunk. Start planning my trips for next spring, summer and fall.

Regrease the steering bearings. A good cleaning of bike. Would like to put on a Clearview windshield.

Winter is here now and will stay for the next 6 months. Bike is on the lift. New Reckless fairing is mounted and is in Mod. mode as we speak. After I've got that done, the bike will be comming apart from front to rear for some "Secret" stuff. Pics. of machined items will appear as they are made. Bdog
