How about this. Get one of the windscreen lights (example) http://wingstuff.com/shop/windshield_lights and then paint the back of the screen a color that goes well with the bike. keep the screen at a very low setting and maybe even trim it down. Might even put a design on the front side. Just a thought.

i was however trying to clean up the shield for a resale. I have the Reckless Fairing on my bike now. So I guess I will polish up the Chrome real well and sell it on Ebay.

you mite try 4000 or 5000 git buffing towel and polishing compound just s thought. Makes rotors look like chrome
