Let me chime in with a couple of statements.... First, I'd like to commend Jared and Jay for the website and logo redesign. You guys (as well as everyone involved) did an excellent job. The VBA website has always been the premiere "front window" for the VBA on the internet. I feel certain that this version will serve the VBA very well now and in the future.

Second, I realize that new members have come into the VBA as well as older members that may have forgotten why I passed the Presidential baton to Jared. It wasn't that I needed to place my attention somewhere else.... nor was it because I wanted to buy a GoldWing and Kawasaki pressured me into resigning (where do you people get this shit?... oh wait..... BD is STILL around).

Someday, I'll probably get a GoldWing, but for now I've still got my 2005 Nomad and plan on riding it for years to come.

For the sake of explaining why I passed the baton to Jared, I think that Kawasaki explained it best in the article they wrote about it last year.

Noticed the link to Wompus Racks not on site and the member that makes hard lowers was missing also any reason?

This was copy and pasted word for word from the old site. That's exactly how it's been for the last year. Not too sure if there was a reason to be honest. If either one of them would like to be included they can contact me. jaredmgant@gmail.com
