Glad you like it 2bez. I made the thing and went through three itterations before I offered it on here. Even so, I'm thinking that there is still room for improvement. It will come to me.

Very nice ! I like it. I may get one as well as I would rather buy from a Kawanow member than others.
Keep the ideas coming everyone!

Idaho's Jack Adapter Review w/pics
I wanted to say that I received my jack-adapter a couple of weeks ago. I removed my fairing and side covers to have them repainted

Well I'm cleaning my bike and it's up on the Idaho Adaptor. It seems much more stable than without the adaptor. Positioning the jack was much easier too. I think I'm gonna like this a lot.

Your Welcome Bud, and it is a very practical, simple to use design.

I thought that I would bump this back to the top. Quite a few of you have these now and are happy with them. They fit the 1500 and the 1500 frame and work on the Classic as well.
Thanks, Idaho

I got a "Remove before Flight" ribbon and a stretch cord deal to attach to the adapter so I don't leave it on again...for the third time, lol.

I gotta say that I did not use the coathanger. I stuck the nails in and just lifted the adapter with the toe of my boot as I slid the jack under.
Of course it then becomes completely invisible once you let it all back down, and so I got on the bike before I remembered to take it off. As I was backing the bike up I heard this *clang* and finally realized it was still under there, before I made it all the way out of the garage. |
