Trip old friend I hope you know that Liz and I wish you and Kathy all the best this life has to give and hope everything works out for you. Thank you for all you have done with Kawanow and the VBA. The VBA is one of the reasons that Liz and I continue to ride Kawasaki's. The way you presented the organization has always made us feel welcome and allowed us to make some great friends. I feel sure that Jared will continue in your footsteps and we are looking forward to what lies ahead with the VBA. If there is ever anything we can help you with please let us know.

Well, what do I say? I'm shocked at the news and so many have said some very gracious words.

I wish to thank you for creating a place where even I feel comfy, no easy task. This was the first forum
I joined and still like hanging around. Made some great friendships here, and for that I thank you! I wish
you and your wife much luck with the future. I was separated from a position after 17 years, after 5 weeks
I was hired by a corp. and made the best of it. I know that with your talents you will do just fine. Good
luck with the future.

As for Jared, well now I can say I know the President of the VBA. I know with the enthusiasm you have,
that you will be successful. Just don't piss TC off! Good Luck with the new challenge.

Not too many words left that haven't been said but will reiterate THANK YOU!! Trip for what you have created and done such a wonderful job maintaining, in todays world it is not easy to keep something like this going for so long and have such a good reputation.
I too went through something simular about 6 years ago and I HATE change, but everything turned out 10 fold for the better. Keep your head up and the rubber down and thing seen to turn out for the better...

Also Congrats Jared...big shoes to fill, but we have confidence

As others have so aptly stated - thanks, Trip! This is a great site and I know how hard it is to give up a 'child', but I think you have made a good choice in finding your successor!

Congrats, Jared, and I'll see if we can find a goat for the initiation ceremony!

Tim

Trip, I don't know what to say...I am sorry you lost your job and hope you find new employment quickly. I also thank you for your vision in creating the VBA and your commitment to building a great organization.

I could not say it any better.

+1 and all of the above. Thanks and best wishes, Trip.

Jared, I don't think it was a difficult decision for Trip to select you and I also don't think that leading VBA is an easy job. Congrats and all the best!

Trip,

I just want to say thank you.

Knowing you and being a part of KawaNOW, now VBA, has enriched my life. I'm glad I got to meet you at the National Rally in Maggie Valley.

Having been laid off twice now myself, the first time after 22 years and then after 8 years the second time, I understand the shock and trauma you are feeling.

Suzanne and I will keep you and Kathy in our prayers.

Bob

It's been a good run, Trip, and thank you for the effort you took to follow a vision to create KawaNOW and lead us into the transition to VBA.

I believe you've chosen a worthy successor and we all look forward to working with Jared to carry on the forum camaraderie we have come to know and love.

Best of luck to your family as you make these changes!!

Trip, I wish you and Kathy all the best moving forward from all this that's happened. I feel you will come out of this in great shape. Thanks for creating this great bike forum. I have really enjoyed it.

Jared, congratulations on your new position. Even though we have never met, I feel Trip has picked a good man for the job. Good luck.
