It looks great but the 1500 is not listed as a model that it fits! I have emailed them asking if it can be modified as it's certainly an option, thanks for the info nmd07 ![]()

It may not be able to be modified unless you use some spacers to mount it. The main difference between a 1500 and a 1600 Nomad front end is the fork spacing. The forks on a 1600 are approx an inch further apart from each other.

"caddyman" sorry to join in so late here. Busier than a cat cov'rin $hit.
I have the HD and bought it off a member, along with his tour pack. I had little to do with the gauges or anything. I just helped "strobe" install it. I have a website of his for you to look at. Maybe that will help you. http://nomad.strobel.ws/hdfairing.php I still have 2 small "holes" to fill. Maybe an oil temp. and water temp. gauges one day. I use the bluetooth radio through the speakers n the fairing but, as of yet I haven't been able to sync it with my SENA headset. Instead I have a dongle bluetooth hooked to my ipod and it streams nicely to the headset. I love the HD fairing. I stayed with the stock mirrors BTW, Let me know if I can help in any way. Here a few photos of mine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for your comments Jared. I hope you're planning to make the rally this summer.

Fairing
I have a 2000 Nomad 1500 and used the Harley fairing. I picked up an inner and outer piece for a total of $100 at a local Harley dealer. It had minor road rash on a corner and all the tabs were good. I made all the brackets and painted it myself. I got a marine radio (Sony) and some speakers on Ebay. If you don't do all the work yourself it could get expensive but I only have about $250 total in the whole project mainly because I had the metal for the brackets, paint, wiring etc. laying around the shop. I found a harley headlight assembly on craigslist (locally for $25, no shipping needed) so I didn't have to cut the fairing to fit around the Nomad headlight. If all I could do was bolt on parts I would probably go with the Wreckless fairing.

Ricky; Does your inner fairing use the part were the HD rocker switches are located or is that removed when installed on a Nomad? And what size are the speakers in your fairing?
