Thumbs Up Video of the new exhaust!!

I just got my bike back from having mid-pipes made to hook up the Yoshimura mufflers to the stock header system. I still need to work on a final design for heat shields, but aside from that still to be done, I consider the project a huge success.

Like any good exhaust video, you'll need to have some bass, and good speakers to appreciate it. Absolutely wonderful in person.

Ok. You got me. That has a MUCH better sound than I envisioned. Now you need to mount a mic (with a wind cover) and go for a ride so we can hear it better.

TC, from your view on louder exhaust, I take that as a highest compliment Thanks!

I shot some other video with the cam mounted on the handle bars and pointed back toward me. The quality of sound recording is okay, but my windows movie maker won't accept my video format (MPEG-4), I need to either update WMM, or convert the files, or post the entire unedited videos on youtube. ???

They don't sound obnoxious to me. They have a deep low rumble that I like. They also sound like you can control how much sound you make by either taking it easy or getting on the throttle.
I really like the look.

So, put it on YouTube already! I'm anxiously waiting!

Technically, on the bikes these are designed for, they are "track only" mufflers, and I also have "street" inserts to reduce the decibels that I haven't even tried yet.

Monkeyman, We spent all day at a mardi gras parade, and now going to some friends' house. I'll post the vids, promise! ;0)

Jay, I have to say "nice job"! When you first mentioned this project, I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the outcome. It sounds great and looks better than I thought it would. Congratulations on some nice engineering.

Here's the raw footage
Also the first time using this camera on the bike like this. Not the best mounting, not the best camera, but enjoy!

The audio sounds a bit choppy but maybe it's just me. 4:35 is what I wanted to hear. That's great! I still like it a bit louder but that sounds muscular without sounding obnoxious. Kind of like a stock Corvette (different sound but same concept). Need one more with you rolling all the way on the throttle from a dead stop. Good job.

After 4:35, it's all 70-75mph cruising for a few miles. I'll see if my wife can help me with a couple more videos

Those mufflers look pretty neat on there, and sound good.
