By the by; A BIG Thanks to Yellow Jacket for the Pic.

And A special thanks to my buddy Top Cat for showing his ass ................agin.

Hey my friend, and I use the term loosely
I do have a Kawasaki badge on my bike. I took the one off the side cover and put it on my windshield where it is MORE noticeable.

I had always assumed the tank badges were screwed on, you're saying they are just "peel and stick?"

Yes.
The badges were screwed on in the Old days, but it is much easier and cheaper for the manufacturer to do the stick on badges.

I guess that means that the manufacturers don't screw us as much anymore?

No,,,,, not buying it. Ain't a tank, and ain't a badge.

What did you do with the badges after you decided the badges weren't worthy of attachment to your tank, Cat? Did you Chit Can 'em or did you save 'em?

The shiny chrome factory badge stood out to much and said "HEY LOOK AT THIS GUY, HE'S RIDING A KAWASAKI", and you were so ashamed that you had a subtle custom job done in order to blend in with the common brands.

I'm trying to figure out what heinous act you've just committed here. This ain't a LIE, because you have'nt told one yet. It is defiantly a case of do as I say, not as I do, but I don't know the word for that. It's mostly deceitful for darn sure. How did that poem go? It was about a spider practicing spinning a web and got tangle up in it while being deceitful?

Mine has been badge free for years. I removed all that could be removed, including the tank, windshield, and side covers.

Not ashamed of it being a Kaw, just looking to be a little different.

Why would I want to save them?
Someone on here was lookin for a set so I gave them to him for the price of shipping.
Blend in,BLEND IN I am extremely hurt that you think my custom paint job is just a common blend in mod.
Removing the badges has nothing to do with Kawasaki, I would debadge any bike I was going to have custom painted.
When people ask what my bike is I tell them it is a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad.

There was no heinous act committed here you big dummy
Did you not notice the in my first post?
That implies a person is joking or kidding or busting balls.
Now go back to reading your kiddie books about spider practicing or whatever

You know what? That little " " saved you backside. No didn't see it

Well' don't I feel like a horses pitoot. I thought you were a lover and a defender of badges.

What about car tires and periodic maintenance? You really hate those two things done to a bike. Don't you?

Periodic maintenance is OK but I feel some of the guys on here are a little, no, a lot anal.
Car tires will never be on my bike but if that is what others want then that is up to them.
I have even changed my thoughts on ATGATT as of late.

Go your own way I say. I still have my tank badges and have lots of people call my bike a Victory. Victory Vulcan? Hmmm?
