What's Your Claim To Fame???

Quote:
My claim to fame was back in 1967 i was on a local kids show called Admiral Fog Horn. And on your birthday you could stand with the admiral and ring a bell when he called your name. The last kid in line got to ring the bell for the kids who couldnt make it there. I got into a fight with a kid on who was going to be last in line. The other kid won. To this day i still have a hard time talking about it so please no one tell any one.

I'm a direct decendent of Francis Scott Key! Maybe that's why I'm so da*n patriotic!

Mine is pretty dorky compared to the likes of meeting John Wayne etc.

Footloose was filmed in my high school. I saw Kevin Bacon a lot, it was filmed while classes were going, but he was an unknown then and I didn't care at all.

The only person that I used to get confused for was Kenny Loggins, when I had long hair. He played a 4th of July concert in my area and people thought that I really was him.

I would have gotten more mileage if I looked like Brad Pitt instead, I'd even feel OK with looking like Ben Affleck :)
Was that AF High School?

I know Miranda Lambert's parents. I placed second in the Shot put in a college track meet. Long time NFL offensive lineman Tom Newberry placed First. Nashville Star contestant Casey Rivers used to carry out my groceries at the local Brookshires. I have autographed pictures of both Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr. I have shook hands with a Supreme Court Judge. Bill Clinton slept with my sisters (not true, I thought I would throw that in).

I don't have much fame...That's all I can think of.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, I have Chuck Woolery and Jerry Clower's autographs. LOL I shook hands with Bubby Brister when he played with the Bronco's. That's about all I can think of.

Okay, this is a stretch - but in 1993 I flew from Salt Lake City to LAX on the same plane as Jeff Malone when he played for the Jazz. He flew first class, I flew coach. :(

What's Your Claim To Fame???

Let's see...
I was one of the first long hair hippie freaks at Texas A&M, after I got out of the Corps of Cadets in 1968.
I was an owner of Southern Comfort Restaurant in Huntsville, TX in the late 70s.
I was the bass guitar player for "The Prison City Slammers" in Huntsville in the early 80s.
I now play bass for "The Mixed Review" in Huntsville.
I have the coolest Nomad in town.
