I like either #3 or #4 of the Disney themed ones! If you feel you need to change it from the original. Id probably leave it as is unless you have to change.

I get why Trip extended the courtesy of asking for Kawasaki's OK but it comes as no surprise to me that they are waffling on a decision, I sell their brand and others, this is just typical Kawasaki fumbling the ball, nothing new for me. Some might have felt that the promotion and endorsement of their product would have at least got someone's attention, personally I voted for Vulcan Nation but now would rather have any of the other slogans then dick around with them or as Jared said, no slogan is good with me too. Is it just me that finds Kawasaki's lack of response offensive?? Sorry for my rant. This is a great site with great members and always will be. Clearly your decision Trip, unlike Kawasaki you are prepared to make one and I respect that.

I didn't vote previously because it just doesn't really affect me that much.
However, "Vulcan" is Kawasaki's term for their entire cruiser lineup (including the 500, 750, 800, 900, MeanStreak, and Classics). I know some of our members own some of these other bikes (I used to own a 900LT) but these bikes just aren't the focus of the forum. So, it seems like "Bagger" fits the forum/organization a little better.

I am all good with number five, and if we could use number 1 I kind of wish it would say Vulcan Bagger Nation vs just Vulcan Nation.

I vote for #5. We don't need no stinking lawyers. I didn't vote the first time around because all of them were ok with me.
I'm with you Trip, let's move this thing along.

Considering this organization promotes one of their lines, you'd think they'd be more transparent/responsive. We are not the enemy. Shakespeare was right.

Chris, I didn't know you were into literature. I had to take that stuff in college and always hated it.

I was commenting on his opinion of lawyers.

After searching trademark names:

"Vulcan Nation" and "vulcan Bagger Nation"

are NOT trademarked names.

I'm for whatever Trip chooses.

Mike

I wouldn't say I'm "into" literature but I took a few classes in high school and college and enjoyed them.

Now that I've heard from you guys, I'm going to make the executive decision to use, "Where Baggers Are Boss".

As I stated before, from a marketing standpoint, I feel this is the best one of the three being considered. It's concise, to the point and as far as I can see, isn't a copy of anything anybody else is using.

To answer some of your questions.... yes, I've contacted Brian... almost every week. But, if there is no answer from his legal department.... then there is no answer. Brian can't help that or move it along any quicker. So, I felt we needed to go ahead and make a change and move on.

Now, I wonder if any of you caught what I stated in the first post about giving all five a prize? Yes, in light of the situation, I'll go ahead and send all five members that suggested the five slogans a prize. So, what's there to complain about?

I need the following members to PM me and give me their mailing addresses:

Nightmare's working on it, TC. We'll be unvieling an accessories website fairly soon.
