Have a rain suit but in Colorado you can hit many little rain showers that you can just ride through in a few minutes. I'd be spending some days doing nothing but dressing and undressing. Rode over Independence pass one day in a spring snow storm and 20 mins later 80* in Buena Vista. I like my bike, dont want another one!

Just jabbing you... all in fun. I realize sometimes that situation happens with weather -- especially in some areas more than others.

Personally, I would find a wide squeegee blade and make that work by screwing it into the under-edge of the fairing. If the blade is wide enough, you'll have plenty for the screws to hold onto, and for a slight bend, causing downward pressure on the lowers. That surely would work and might look a bit more as if it was designed to be there.

Good luck...

A rubber strip like that is a good idea, maybe on the outside edge with the insulation would dress it up. Thanks! Oh ya the Government subsidizes and creates problems. Dont feed the bears they will become lazy and dependent on HANDOUTS. Thanks again.

In Colorado... you might not want to let them smoke pot either... then they will become even lazier and more hungry.

Try this link http://www.sagebrushdesigns.com/index.html
This place is where I bought my saddlebag chaps. They make custom pieces to cover that gap you pictured so your knees don't get as wet. Customer service was awesome, very friendly and easy to work with.

A flat piece of soft black foam from a craft store stuffed in there looks pretty decent and works well.
Dem is butt ugly and Your knees would still get wet. I did the foam a long time ago and it works great. Even cold dry air off the knees. Super easy. My foam is dense enough that it needs no adhesive too.
