Saw the pictures Scott. Bike did take a good bit of abuse. You are very fortunate.

CJ...I guess I found the details. You are ok, that is all that matters. The rest is just time & money.

I guess it was my turn (New w/pics)

Thanks a lot guys. I know this crash was small potatoes compared to a lot of them. I was honestly surprised when I got up off the road. Some of the stiffness has gone, but the road rash makes it hard to get comfortable.

It's starting to come back to me now, I went off on the left side and the bike hit and flipped over to the right and then slid to a stop. When it happened, I remember realizing I was going down (one of the major OH S**T! moments in my life) and the next thing I knew, I was rolling across the road.

I have taken a few days off to heal some but plan to be back at work on Monday. I hope to have the bike at the dealer before the weekend.

Had I not been wearing a 3/4 helmet with a full shield, my face would probably look like my arms.

Thanks again for all the good wishes.

Scott, just found this thread.
Glad you are not hurt to bad. It could have been much worse, it could have been me.
Hope you heal quickly and the wife gets over being "not happy with you" ;)

Scott, sorry to hear about your wreck. You are very fortunate indeed.
The bike can be fixed or replaced. Heel quickly so we can see you at the National Rally.

I guess it was my turn (New w/pics)

Just found this thread, hate to hear this and glad you came out it alright. This just goes to show it can happen to the best of experienced riders. I often tell the wife, it's gonna happen. Just hope it isn't too bad.

Good luck with the insurance. Mine was totaled. I found all my bling receipts and they ended up treating me OK. I like the value of used Nomads, so I found another black one.

Time for a bike with ABS. I am glad you are ok though. The bike can always be fixed.
