So I'd like to see July some time.
Late July and August can be iffy around here. That is when our Monsoon Season kicks in and it can be a bitch in the mountains.

Better bring more than that 1/2 gallon you brought to the SW Rally. The rally leader only got a sip after everyone else took it over. Better yet, a 1/2 gallon for me might be in order.

Seems like a lot of the annual Colorado motorcycle rallies are in June...

Apparently June is consistent in having the least chance of rain, while still having reasonable temps. July, Aug, and Sept have the highest rain averages -- with Aug being the highest. Either way... Colorado gets half the rain we do around here.

I am sure you'll do well with the planning Joel without my two-cents. I'll just keep trolling the thread as it moves along...

Personally, I wouldn't mind a little rain. You guys afraid of a little water, are you going to melt or something?

If anyone is afraid of rain, come to Arizona. I think the last time it rained was when Goldwater lost. Of course the temps will be a little high.

Right now I'll take anything. Crap it's hot and DRY for here. Right now this looks as though it could shape up to be a record drought. Some of the warmest temps, one of the lower precipitation years and the snow pack sucked so we have some record low stream flows in areas.

That seems to be the time when you have the lowest chance of snow in the mountains, decent temps out here and the rainfall starts dropping off fast.

Two years ago when we had the rally in Cortez, some of us went a little early and I just missed snow by a couple hours, audio drove through a bunch as well as a couple others and that was early June. The high country has seen snow in every month of the year at some point.

As far as others, the Southeast and South are not repulsively hot yet (close), the NW is somewhat warmer and sorry to you folks that have to drive across Arizona, Nevada and Utah, it will be hot no matter what.

It was only 108° here today. Tomorrow should be around 113°. I'll do anything to get out of here for a week.

I love rain! You ain't got no rally unless you got a day or two of rain or a storm! The best and most memorable time I have is when it STORMED at a rally! However can you appreciate fair weather if you don't have rain?

If you don't like rain at a rally you don't like America, your Mama, Jesus, or black people.

I for one don't want to be around a bunch of racist, socialist, heathen, rain, and Mama haters at a motorcycle rally.

Oh yeah June is fine for me. June was the name of one of my ex-shackjobs, and any time I get the chance I'd like to do it in June.
