Nah, I don't speed. You're just not use to the posted 75 MPH interstates we have in Utah.

Looks like he crossed the bridge at Annapolis.... That's a great bridge with a nice turn on cheesegrader wire too..... Outter be Welcome to NY CT, Mass, NH and Maine right quick huh?

I wonder if he can nick RI?

On my end he's good any time Friday..... if not Sat works fine as does Sunday.... Jared Stop at Kenneth Brett School on the right off Rt 113 .... just to get bearings or call...

If you like ride apx 1 more mile and turn left onto Hollow Hill Rd. Ride good pavement to very bad (go slow soon) where that bad paved surface ends turn right onto a dirt road. This is our 1/2 mile long driveway. Pass the house, and ride to the barn and go in if it suits you. We will hear you .....

In CT tonight. Depending on what time I get out of bed and on the road (hoping to be on the road around 6:30-7:00ish), I should be to your neck of the woods around 2:00.

I added more on edit see it....... Any time will do..... I might be working on the land maybe.. we will all be around ..... If you want skip maine as we live just 15 miles away from that boarder, if the boarder is what your after..

If you come up I-95 you can take I-95 right into Maine and go see scenic Kittery Maine, and get back on to the Spaulding Turnpike from there. That is apx 80 miles from me. If you get off the interstate in Mass seek Rt 1 the old road, and off that Rt 1A which is as close to the ocen as you can get with out a boat.

Salisbury Bch thru Rye is a nice sea side ride (1A).

Jared....give my best to Mac....I too wish I could roll into his place and toss back a cold one with him. Great pics...I am jealous as I have never been to any of that part of the US. Was this a strategic trip to pick up about 15 more states for your map....?? If so.....

I'ld still like him to stay 2 nights...

He is supposed to show up here mid afternoon.
Depending onbhis condition, after some rest the oil change he wants, shower?? ; there could be still time for a ride up into the Kanc, perhaps see the height of land and or mabye a Moose....

There are scenic vista pull overs before the hight of land and 2 up there one facing North, the other west.

If then Jared sees something to the North, there is Bear Notch Road to Rt 302 at Bartlett. Taking that west it goes up to Crawford Notch, and the Mt Washington Hotel, all very scenic.

Miles: my place to the east entrance of the Kanc 14.

from there to the top 17

back track to Bear Notch apx 6

Bear Notch down to Bartlett 9

Rt 302 to Crawfords 18

Crawfords to the Hotel apx 4

So not a great distance for a very scenic ride albeit short.

If I could get Saturday we could see more real scenic views and also hit Maine's coast.. but this guy is movin... I did this ride myself more or less and there is places i saw and couldn't take in, like that Fur Trade Musem in Chadron, and the Winchester Museum in Cody. both of which I passed by twice knowing I was..

It makes no sence to approach NH from the south and stop where I am just 14 miles south of the mountians here.... I thought he was coming in higher from the west. Planned to escort into Maine.. BUY him a bug! (lobster)

The approach from the south makes NH just look like any other state, mostly Mass, Ct sort of look.... not much to see... But pass where I am there is lots to see...

Geez Mac, the southeastern part of the state isn't all that bad.

I gave Jared my contact info and offered to meet up with him to pick some nice roads through RI, Mass, and southern NH, including the Hampton Beach to New Castle ride. I figured I'd get him some clam chowdah at Petey's too, but it sounds like he's going to just head straight up to your place since I haven't heard from him. Hopefully he has the time to ride with you. Be a shame to get that far into NH and miss the notches.

Not a great day to be working his way north from CT though. The ride out of Mass is miserable on Friday afternoon's in the summer.

Al righty matey's we've got him now

Tomm All I get is this evening.... I am tryin' ta' tawk some sence into him still, and he has the option for another night easy.
As far as i can tell he wants to be in TC country Saturday night..

In a moment, the plan is to change the oil and filter, get him into the Kanc before sunset.. eat in N Conway, and get him back here before we all turn into punkins or Moose bait.

This guy is going to just ruin my beauty sleep..

I hear the patter of tiny foot steps, gotta run! Don't nobody tell ok

Welp I ain't givin him back! he's like the 2nd son I never had! I got so nervouse i dropped my 06 for the first time and Jared had to pick it up. No Chit he did..

Dead stop drop too, and a little help from some pavement... Oh well nuthing even scratched... I wonder what Proggressive does for a chipped ego?

We baited him with some steamed clams and lobster pie, but jury is still out..

I am working on the next ploy with home made maple syrup....

I do have a secret weapon! While the Lad was lookin' the other way, I managed to slip into his helmet with the camera mounted on top.... Jus' you wait till his missus see's that! an' I tell her it's him, err I mean me, no him, err no that I am him, no that he's me!

That will work won't it........ ???
